The car runs, I was promised that the Honda Element I bought would be I great condition. Told I'll have a new water pump and serpentine belts (that didn't happen). Botched my valve gasket and that had to be resealed, have a major rear main seal leak that they ignored. Promised Good Year Tires, got cheap Ling Long tires. The sales people know how to build trust and will lie to make a sale. If you have a problem call Honda of Westport and get in touch of Mr. Perkins. H&S is where a lot of the crappy cars from Honda of Westport, Dan Perkins Chevy and Subaru go. I am not saying don't shop here but make sure all the promises are in pen and you have a 3rd party go over the car.
I was hungry when I got there, ate nothing but left with a very full stomach. That beauty I left with made my day. Best vehicle I ever own. But for the potholes in the streets I would think I was flying an airplane. The rate that I got for financing is awesome, lower than I expected. Talk about the friendly atmosphere, that's a rap. I will, I said I will recommend H & S Auto Sales anytime, all the time.
If you are not looking for unnecessary headaches STAY AWAY FROM THIS PEOPLE. I saw online a Ridgeline pick-up and despite the several negative reviews this dealer had, I decided to check out the truck anyway. I went there and took it for a test drive, the sales guy was this old guy called ..PAUL..he almost “kissed our feet” just so that we could buy the car with him. I found out a couple of problems while testdriving the truck, the instrument cluster was flickering and you could not see the odometer reading steady and also the AC had a broken knob and you could not adjust the temperature. I asked Paul about the odometer display problem and he told us that it was because they had cleaned the engine inside and something might be wet but no big deal because they wold fix it if continued like that for another day.But I later learned that PAUL was the master of lying and diseption. Anyway, i decided to buy it but only if they will fix this two problems. Since the car was sold “as is” condition I relied on their promisse to fix those problems. NEVER HAPPENED!! When I told them that the odometer display was still not working right, the manager ANTHONY ,who was the worst human being I have ever dealt with...a crook and a liar....a total thug, ...he told me that the car was sold to you as is. I told him that Paul promissed me you will fix it and that is why I decided to buy it..but he would not care..the guy had a very bad attitude ...and when I asked Paul...he said I did not promisse you and I did not think it would be a big problem ( I ended paying $1600 out of my pocket to the Honda dealer) . They also tricked me into buying a $3000 warranty, which I canceled the same day because it was not worth it after I read all the contract. I canceled same day with same milage so I was entitled of a full refund. I took them over two months to give the money back but only after I threatened to sue them. A lot of phone calls and a lot of time and miles wasted by going to that dealer I belive this was the most stressful and most negative buying experience I had in my entire life. PLEASE STAY AWAY from this people.
My experience here has been great so far. Evan was our salesman and he has been extremely professional. We had a slight issue with the vehicle once we got it home, but Evan has gone above and beyond to rectify the problem. I would recommend him too friends and family.
good dealership, vehicles are very nice, and everyone there was friendly, I came in left a deposite came back 2 days later to pick up my new vehicle, but they made promises to me which they denied after I got a vehicle. my salesman was fired the day after I picked up my vehicle so I was unsure of who to goto if I had a problem with the vehicle, I didn't worry about it since I had a warranty, but not to my knowledge they sold me the vehicle as is. everyday when I called there a manager never seemed to be available but the employees are very hands on and try to assist you as much as possible. I was promised 100-150 dollars per person I referred to the dealership, I even called several time mentioning the amount to them, but then out of no where they stopped giving 100$ and only started giving 50$ per referral... im not trying to shoot anyone down from purchasing a vehicle from them but you cant hold them to their word, they will definitely put you in a vehicle despite credit issues but not everything they tell you is truthful. I would definitely read the contract agreement with them thoroughly before signing besides that my car runs great and will purchase from them again in the future.
