Clean, bright supermarket with friendly, helpful staff. The cafe section with hot & cold food is great. There’s a sitting area to eat before shopping which is always a good idea. Even at peak times like Christmas there’s plenty of staff and open checkout lanes. Parking is good and there’s other shops nearby.
Plenty of fresh produce everything from Seafood to Stakes it's all there typical grocery store pretty good savings

I was at the stratford big y. I was just trying to send money to a friend in China and I filled out all of the information for western union. The lady at the service center was nice and all but the manager all of the sudden told me they wouldn't let me send the money. He said "we can't help you". with out any reason why. I'm pretty upset. I guess this is why I go to stop and shop. ...Stop and shop later that night helped me out and said they shouldn't have had any problems with what I was trying to do. Thanks for ruining my busy night big y.
I actually do not mind going grocery shopping here. It has a very pleasant atmosphere and friendly, helpful employees. Excellent produce and meats. My only wish was that they carried more boars Head products.
